Mindy Gold - It strikes me that these pictures truly capture the way our memories of childhood work: that flashback to a favorite pair of shoes, the “no-front-teeth” moment, the sweet softness of little hands, the pleasure of berry collecting, the absolute thrill of your parents playing hide and seek with you. The photographer is truly gifted at catching these moments without even seeming as if he were there. The photos are so natural and intimate–and yet so beautifully composed and lit, even when everyone’s in joyous motion! And love the music with the needle scratching…took me back to my childhood!
